CORTROL VMS Version 1.12.0 Released

February 7, 2019, Cary, N.C. — CBC AMERICA., the parent company of the Ganz brand, announced the worldwide release of Ganz CORTROL VMS Version 1.12.0.  V1.12.0 includes more than 15 notable new features and enhancements, offering system administrator's greater control of their infrastructure.

New Features and Enhancements:

  • Channel shortcuts: visual areas in Client application for fast navigation to other channels
  • Unlimited number of external source devices (smartphone as device, tablets), devices that stream video only counted
  • Channel groups support within Event & Action rules
  • Graphical configuration for recording schedules
  • Map based Visual indicators
  • 'Video lost' status on maps
  • Permissions support for 'Recent archive interval'
  • Recording error and recording recovered can be used per channel now
  • Client support for “Startup layout sequence”
  • Counters now support 'Current day' for automatic reporting
  • Archive calendar option to display data for selected camera only
  • E&A Event: Per channel support for “Recording error” and “Recording recovered”
  • Video wall E&A Configurator
  • ‘External Event’ in E&A configurator. Event can be triggered directly on recording server via HTTP API

Improvements:

  • Archive eraser for network storage
  • Client application operation on low resolution displays
  • 'Channels' last recording time is displayed in Monitoring section of Console application
  • Color for external data overlay can be defined
  • Shadows for instant player's play/pause control
  • Added an option for user to choose folder for exported video & snapshots in Client application
  • Simplified configuration steps for newly added replication channel
  • Monitoring: Servers and Channels recent errors can be seen
  • New Device and Camera support
