Ganz CORTROL VMS V1.7.0 Released

Cary, N.C. -  February 5, 2018 — CBC AMERICAS Corp., the parent company of the Ganz brand, announced the latest release of their VMS Ganz CORTROL V1.7.0.

Ganz CORTROL V1.7.0 brings several new features and enhancements, offering system administrator's greater control of their infrastructure.

New Features:

• Added software counters controlled by any generic events
• Added automated reports for video analytic and software counters
• Added automatic failover server deactivation after corresponding recording server is online (Global only)
• Added auto logout setting in Monitor application after user inactivity
• Added an option to show separate timeline for each channel in playback mode
• Added a ‘Layout’ object type for the maps
• Added action to highlight user button on map by events
• Added ability to rotate any camera icon on map

Enhancements:

• Minimal failover timeout is set to 10 seconds
• Implemented an option to manage audit settings (number of records and number of days to keep in database)
• Improvements for Samsung devices with new firmware
