Commack, NY – May 8, 2006 – CBC (AMERICA) announced the release of the MP Series Megapixel Cameras, delivering real-time megapixel video at up to 15x the resolution of analog cameras.
The MP2A (2 Megapixel Camera With Auto-Iris Output) delivers high definition full motion video at a maximum rate of 24 frames per second. The MP2A is compatible with ALL our Computar Megapixel lenses.
The MP3DN-2 (3/1.3 Dual-Sensor Day Night Camera) offers the perfect solution for 24-hour Day/Night surveillance. During the day, the 3 megapixel color sensor delivers clear, high resolution images. At night the 1.3 megapixel monochrome sensor automatically switches on providing excellent low-light sensitivity to 0.01 lux.
The MP5 (5 Megapixel IP Camera) sets new standards in video quality and performance, using progressive scan technology. The powerful 5 Megapixel sensor can record video up to 2560x1600 resolution providing 15x the resolution of analog cameras and allowing identification of small details within each scene.
The MP8D (8 Megapixel, 360 degree IP Dome) delivers panoramic 360 degree views and cinema compatible frame rate to allow real-time high definition digital video surveillance. Using four separate 2 megapixel CMOS sensors equipped with 4mm lenses, the MP8D captures four different images at a minimum 90 angle viewed as a quad image on one screen to deliver 360 degree views.
All MP Series Cameras include flexible surveillance software supporting real-time multi camera viewing, motion detection, digital archiving and automatic identification and configuration of all installed cameras via graphical interface. The MP Series also offers free SDK for Linux and Windows and a software license file.
