December 19, 2022, Cary, N.C. — Ganz, a leading manufacturer of intelligent security systems, announced the maintenance release of CORTROL VMS 1.22.1. Ganz CORTROL unites actionable intelligence in a central command center by unifying IP-based video surveillance, access control, AI, analytics, IoT smart sensors, license-plate recognition, facial recognition, communications, biometrics, and other IP systems. This maintenance release adds new features and enhancements.
New Features:
- Authorize external/LDAP users using Win32 Logon User call
- (Applied to foreign security principals when user domain is not accessible from the server directly)
- Serbian (Cyrillic, Serbia) localization
Enhancements:
- Client: Responsiveness of a combo box with a lot of elements
- Client: Startup time on systems without internet access
- Leica BLK device: Implemented 2.0 firmware version support
- MQTT client compatibility with HiveMQ Cloud broker
- Removed outlines for marker icons and text on the maps
- Regex matching for MQTT client and GSM modem events
- Support of ‘Scene Change Detection’ feature to new Panasonic/i-PRO devices

Fixes:
- Analog devices: External PTZ control settings
- CBC (Ganz) ZNP-B5M212DP model AI stream recording
- Client: Checkbox ‘Pop up message box upon server disconnect’ may disappear after restart
- Tanz cameras may not work as (Generic) ONVIF Compatible camera model
- Zone-specified events for Leica devices
Notes:
CORTROL version 1.3.x, and newer allows upgrading of prior installations
- Premier, Global, Recorder: “NOT” backward compatible with older installations
- Management Console: Not compatible with older versions of the CORTROL Server
- Client: Compatible with 1.22.x, and older versions of Premier, Global, Recorder
