CORTROL VMS 1.23.1 Maintenance Release

May 19, 2022, Cary, N.C. — Ganz, a leading manufacturer of intelligent security systems, announced the maintenance release of CORTROL VMS 1.23.1. Ganz CORTROL unites actionable intelligence in a central command center by unifying IP-based video surveillance, access control, AI, analytics, IoT smart sensors, license-plate recognition, facial recognition, communications, and other IP systems. This maintenance release brings new features, updates, and fixes.

New Features:

• Input guard events for NEDAP AEOS access control
• Display for all channels on the map in playback mode

Enhancements:

• Single channel license for all i-PRO multi-lens IP cameras
• Aspect ratio settings for external services output results
• ‘Add bookmark’ keyboard shortcut in command mapping settings
• Metadata support for External Service Tab in static grid view pictures
• Snapshot export in PDF format displays time in the local zone instead of the UTC

Support for new cameras added:

• i-PRO (Panasonic) WV-X86530-Z2 and WV-X86531-Z2
• Mobotix 3 lens cameras: P7 Series and Mx6 Series
• Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY

Fixes:

• Timeline disappears when time series database event’s start and end time are the same
• Additional audio and VCA permissions are no longer needed for users to manage external services
• Uniview audio stream recording while the audio source is not enabled in Console
• The portable player does not accept the password from the encrypted archive
• Edge recording for Vivotek FD9369

All existing Prime version 1.21.x users may continue using Prime indefinitely unless they upgrade to CORTROL v1.22.x CORTROL Primer reinstallation and reactivation will not work due to changes in the licensing portal.

• Management Console: Not compatible with older versions of the CORTROL Server
