Ganz CORTROL VMS 1.22.0 Released

A new major version now available for download.

October 25, 2022, Cary, N.C. — CBC AMERICA, a leading manufacturer of intelligent security systems and the Ganz brand's parent company, announced today a major new release of Ganz CORTROL VMS version 1.22.0, adding several new powerful features and functionality enhancements.

New Features:

• Actions: Device Channel Disable / Enable / Toggle
• Added Indonesian localization
• Auxiliary device event: for non-video device events
• BLK247: VCA events for “Human” and “Non-Human”
• Client: Alarm pane filter tabs
• CVA (CORTROL Video Analytics): Detector 320×320
• GSM generic modems: Sending and receiving SMS notifications
• MQTT Client: MQTT protocol support
• Premier Suite no longer includes the CORTROL Prime edition
• Supplementary streams: Audio, Motion, VCA, and external Data streams
• SMS Support:
• Event: SMS Received
• Action: Send SMS
• Two-factor authentication

• Client/Reports: Search and select all counters at once
• Client: Message box when the server disconnects
• Channels: UniPing Server Solution DI/DO support

• Monitoring: Servers connection quality
• Monitoring: Storage column listing of last time storage was available

• SATEL integration: ARM/DISARM events and actions
• SMTP: Extended error descriptions in the Audit log
• SMTP: Add TLS 1.2 support

Important Notes:

1.   CORTROL version 1.3.x and newer allows upgrading of prior installations

Premier, Global, Recorder: "NOT" backward compatible with older installations

Management Console: Not compatible with older versions of the CORTROL Server

Client: Compatible with 1.21.x and older versions of Premier, Global, Recorder

2.   CORTROL Prime is no longer available as part of the CORTROL Premier suite as of CORTROL release 1.22.0 ***

If CORTROL Prime 1.21.x is upgraded to CORTROL version 1.22.0, the customer will lose access to their prior installation of CORTROL Prime.
All existing CORTROL Prime version 1.21.x users may continue using Prime indefinitely unless they choose to upgrade to CORTROL v1.22.0
Reinstallation of CORTROL Prime will not work due to changes in the licensing portal.
